The beginnings
The East African Coronation Safari was created by cousins Eric Cecil and Neil Vincent to celebrate the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Ninety crews set off across the East African wilderness, with Alan Dix claiming victory in a Volkswagen Beetle.
