#### When is the rally?

The East African Safari Classic Rally runs from 03 to 11 December 2027.

#### Where will the rally take place and how long is it?

The rally is approximately 3,600km total distance across Kenya.

#### Which cars qualify for the main classic rally?

Pre-1984 production cars that competed in, or are eligible for, the original East African Safari Rally era qualify for the main classic category.

#### Are there any other categories?

Yes — alongside the main classic rally there are supporting categories for newer classic and modern rally-prepared cars. Contact the organisers for the full category list.

#### How many entry places are available?

Entry places are limited to keep the field manageable on the route's unforgiving roads. Enter early — the rally has sold out in previous years.

#### Is there a limit on team member numbers?

Each car is crewed by a driver and co-driver. Additional support crew can be registered separately to assist at service points.

#### Will competitors have visibility of the course in advance?

Route books and recce notes are issued ahead of the event so competitors can study the stages before the rally starts.

#### What safety measures are in place?

All cars are scrutineered before the start, medical and recovery crews are stationed along the route, and cars carry tracking and emergency communication equipment.

#### Can I bring my family to the rally?

Families are welcome at service parks, the start/finish ramps, and designated public viewing points along the route.

#### How do I spectate?

Spectators can follow the rally from public roads near stage starts and finishes, or from the service parks. A spectator guide is published closer to the event.

#### Can I take photos or videos of the event?

Yes, personal photography and video are welcome from public viewing areas. Accredited media should apply for a media pass in advance.

#### Can I help at the event?

The rally relies on volunteer marshals and officials. Get in touch with the organising team if you'd like to help out.
