It should be
noted that this safari involves a lot of traveling to catch
rally cars and is "The tougher option". Minimum number of
participants is six For a quotation for fewer numbers or client
specific itinerary please contact us as we can tailor make an
itinerary to suit your specific needs.
8th December 2003
07.10 Fly from Frankfurt on KO762 to Nairobi via Amsterdam then
KQ600 to Mombasa arriving at 23.00. Transfer to Whitesands Hotel
for overnight stay.
9th December 2003
A day of leisure to see the rally cars, swim in the sea,
windsurf, play golf, sunbathe or just relax. Whitesands is a
beach hotel with a lovely swimming pool, large gardens and a
long beach frontage. It is the Rally Headquarters and guests can
watch the rally cars undergoing last minute preparation
Half-board accommodation and overnight at Whitesands Hotel.
10th December 2003
After early breakfast drive to watch the start on the seafront
of Mombasa Island, then drive to Taita Hills to watch the rally
with a picnic lunch before going to Voi Wildlife Lodge for
dinner and overnight on the edge of Tsavo Park

11th December 2003
An early morning game drive before breakfast then depart for a five
hour drive to Nairobi where lunch is served at Carnivore Restaurant.
This is a restaurant known as Africa's Greatest Eating Experience.
You can sample all sorts of game meats, tropical vegetables and
sauces. After lunch drive down the Great Rift Valley escarpment to
Lake Naivasha for dinner and overnight at Great Rift Valley Country
Club.
12th December 2003
An early morning game walk or game of golf on the beautiful course
(at extra charge). After breakfast drive to Eldoret to watch the
rally cars coming up the side of the Kerio Valley. Late afternoon go
to a camp where all competitors will be camping on a farm. Tents are
proper stand up tents with a hot shower tent next door. Dinner and
overnight at Eldoret Campsite.
 13th
December 2003
Early morning. Watch the rally cars leave then after breakfast drive
3 hours to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving for lunch Short siesta
after lunch then an afternoon game drive during which is is possible
to see Rhino, Hippo, Giraffe and often Leopard. Roger Peterson, the
world's greatest bird watcher, described Lake Nakuru as "The World's
Greatest Bird Spectacle". There are millions of Pink Flamingoes and
Herons wading in the shallow waters of Lake Nakuru. Dinner and
overnight at Lion Hill Lodge.
 14th
December 2003
An early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru often gives you the
chance to see leopard. After breakfast drive to Masai Mara arriving
for lunch at Kichwa Tembo Camp. In the afternoon go to watch the
rally cars before returning to Kichwa Tembo Camp for dinner and
overnight.
 15th
December 2003
A day of relaxing in Masai Mara with the chance to take an early
morning balloon ride (extra US$ 385 per person) or take 3 game
drives, with all meals and overnight in Kichwa Tembo Camp.
16th December
2003
After breakfast leave with a picnic lunch to spend a day watching
the rally cars. It will be possible to see the rally cars in two or
three different places before arriving at the Safari Park Hotel just
outside Nairobi for dinner and overnight. Safari Park is also the
hotel where all competitors are staying.
 17th
December 2003
Early breakfast then watch rally cars before proceeding to Amboseli
arriving in time for lunch. Short siesta. Afternoon game drive where
you can often take great pictures of elephants or other animals with
Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner and overnight Amboseli
Serena Lodge.
18th December
2003
Early morning game drive. After breakfast drive to Tsavo West for
lunch. A short siesta before an afternoon game drive to see Mzima
Springs where it is possible to see hippo from an underwater viewing
tank in the crystal clear waters. Dinner and overnight Kilaguni
Serena Lodge.
19th December 2003
After breakfast drive to Diani Beach to watch the finish of the
rally. I In the evening all participants are invited to a beach
party to celebrate the end of the rally. Overnight at Leopard Beach
Hotel.
20th December 2003
A day of leisure on the beautiful Diani Beach with half board
accommodation at Leopard Beach Hotel There is an excellent 18 hole
golf course available (at extra cost) within 5 minutes walk from the
hotel. Overnight Leopard Beach Hotel.
21st December 2003
Morning at leisure. Transfer to Mombasa airport for the flight to
Nairobi which connects with your flight to Europe.
